Father’s Day Giveaway

Dad’s are fabulous aren’t they? That’s why we are asking you to nominate yours if you think he deserves to win an extra special Father’s Day treat this year. He doesn’t have to be your biological Dad, he (or she) could be the father figure in your life, that special person who you want to thank this Father’s Day 21^st June.

The giveaway is a hamper full of local beers plus a Griffin Takeaway Sunday Carvery meal for Dad, on Sunday 21^st June 2020. We can deliver the prize on Sunday 21^st June subject to the winning Dad being at a TR7 address. Outside of this locality please note that the prize will need to be collected.

This competition closes on Friday 19^th June and the winning Dad will be announced on Saturday 20^th June 2020. Good luck!

Terms & Conditions

1. The promoter is the Griffin Newquay whose registered office is at The Griffin, Cliff Road, Newquay, Cornwall, TR7 1SP.
2. The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over except employees of the Griffin Newquay and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
4. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

6. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
7. Closing date for entry will be at midnight on Friday 19^th June 2020. After this date the no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
8. The winner will be drawn at random on Saturday 20^th June 2020 and agrees to be contacted by the Griffin Newquay to arrange their prize. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 12 hours of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
9. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
10. To enter the competition, nominate your Dad to receive the prize by tagging him in the post, or by emailing us your Dads name at info@griffin-inn-newquay.co.uk
11. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
12. The prize is as follows: A beer hamper plus a complimentary Sunday Carvery for the winners’ nominated Dad, to be redeemed on Fathers Day, Sunday 21 June 2020. The carvery must be pre-ordered on Saturday 20^th or Sunday 21st June 2020 by telephone. The Griffin Newquay will deliver the prize for free to any TR7 address on Sunday 21^st June 2020, otherwise the winner accepts full responsibility for the collection of their prize.
13. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
14. The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected / is delivered.
15. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
16. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
17. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
18. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party.

20. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
